Paradise comes at a price . . .
The stunning mountain views. The beautiful shore of Lake Geneva. The terrified woman held in the suite belonging to the hotel’s millionaire owner.
Lo Blacklock’s all-expenses paid trip to a luxury Swiss chateau should have been the ideal return to work. But as her past catches up with her, the millionaire’s mistress demanding that Lo help her escape, and a body turning up in the room next door, forces Lo to ask how far would she go to help someone she’s not even sure she can trust…
Review:
It’s been years since I read The Woman in Cabin 10 but I do remember really enjoying it so I was thrilled to catch up with Lo Blacklock again in this sequel set 10 years on from the events in the first book. And I can confirm that The Woman in Suite 11 was just as brilliant as I’d been hoping, and expecting, considering how much I love Ruth Ware’s books! It is a thoroughly compelling, twisty and addictive thriller which focuses on a mysterious billionaire, a luxury hotel opening and reuniting with some of the characters from The Woman in Cabin 10 – although I don’t want to give anything away about who exactly makes an appearance for fear of spoiling the enjoyable surprises when they show up! Lo is also a fabulous main character to follow and when she finds herself in a very difficult predicament I was rooting for her the whole time. Ruth Ware is such a fantastic writer when it comes to crafting uniquely addictive page turners that keep the reader completely gripped from beginning to end and The Woman in Suite 11 is no exception. I thoroughly enjoyed and sped through it at quite a pace without even noticing, keen to find out how everything would be resolved. It can absolutely be read as a standalone but I would honestly highly recommend reading both this, and its predecessor because they are both fantastic. A sharp, thrilling and totally captivating read and an easy five stars from me!
