Summary:

Two friends. Two decades.

One big mistake…

Nat and Zoe have always shared everything.

Hopeless crushes, emergency tampons, messy sex stories, work triumphs, those days where you can’t stop crying in the loos, those days where you can’t stop dancing on the bar. They even share the same birthday, FFS. The struggle is real, but they’ll always have each other.

Except best friends forever is a hard promise to keep…

Review:

I was looking for the perfect summer read to make me laugh, smile and maybe cry a bit, and contrary to its title, Bad Choices was the perfect choice! The story follows best friends Nat and Zoe over the course of 20 years as they go through all the things that happen to women as they grow up and build their lives. Each chapter checks in with them around their shared birthday and the reader gets to experience both their points of view plus the ups and downs of their epic friendship.

Bad Choices was such an enjoyable read which I absolutely flew through. I loved how relatable it was and also the fabulous 00’s pop culture references that are peppered throughout! Nat and Zoe go through very different struggles but their friendship, although fractured a couple of times, is the strength at the centre of their lives and they always come back to each other. They make mistakes and occasionally hurt one another but there is a warmth and humour throughout Bad Choices which makes it impossible not to root them and their friendship love story. If you’re looking for a warm, funny and genuinely uplifting read this summer then I highly recommend Bad Choices!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Thank you so much to Alainna Hadjigeorgiou and Orion Books for my invitation to be on the tour and for the review copy of the book. My review is entirely my own honest opinion.
